Fascinating data coming out of the first week of our persistent poll asking how our readers’ jobs are, or aren’t being affected by AI.
The story seems to be there’s not much in-between.
50% say YES their job as been impacted
50% say NO their job hasn’t been impacted
What does this mean? Our hunch is there’s two scenarios:
You’re in tech or some other industry that is prone to be an early adropter of all disruptive tech
No matter what industry you’re in, once AI arrives it has an almost immediate impact on the organizaiton thereby eliminating any incremntal period where a person would answer SOMEWHAT to our poll
We’ll see what this week holds.
